Our English language courses
The English language teaching centre offers a variety of courses ranging from eight weeks to nine months which cater for most language levels and abilities.
Run in partnership with Study Group, our International Study Centre offers a range of foundation and pre-master's programmes designed specifically for students looking to progress onto our courses.

Our location
Located on the coast of South Wales, Cardiff is just 30 minutes away from beautiful beaches and mountainous national parks, while being only a 2-hour train journey from London. Cardiff is regularly ranked as one of the UK’s best cities for students, with its affordable living costs, excellent transport links and our campus at its heart.

Courses
Pre-sessional English
These full-time, intensive English language courses are for international students with IELTS (Academic) for UKVI scores of either 5.0, 5.5, 6.0 or 6.5 and who hold an offer to study on an undergraduate or postgraduate courses with us.
If you successfully complete your relevant pre-sessional course, there is no need to retake an IELTS test.
English for University Study
The English for University Study Programme is a full-time English language and study skills course for international students.
The International Foundation Year
The International Foundation Year provides access to almost all undergraduate subjects through one of four routes:
•    Humanities, Law and Social Sciences
•    Business, Economics, Accounting and Finance
•    Engineering, Physical Sciences and Architecture
•    Health, Medical and Life Sciences.
The Pre-Master's programme 
The Pre-Master's programme currently offers two routes:
•    Business, Social Sciences and Humanities
•    Computer Science.
