Need to learn or improve your English for work, study, travel or simply making conversation with friends? A General English course at IH London focuses on the English you need to communicate well in everyday situations. 

If you want to study in a group during daytime weekdays we have three General English courses named after the number of lessons a week: 15, 20 and 25.

General English 15 classes are in the morning from 9.00 to 12.00, Monday to Friday. General English 20 and 25 have the same morning lessons but with extra afternoon classes: General 20 from 12.15 to 13.10, and General English 25 from 13.15 to  15.10.

If culture is your thing, our English Experience course includes daily excursions around London. And if you're busy in the day we have a variety of evening English group courses to choose from.

To get a teacher all to yourself you can book a one-to-one course at either a fixed or flexible time.
