Other Information

Anglolang’s Family Course combines English lessons with social, cultural and sporting activities for the whole family. The adults join adult classes while the children join children's classes (over 7 years old only). For children who are younger than 7 years old, we can organise childcare at a local nursery (kindergarten). 

Lessons are usually based around a number of topics, for example: Work, the Family, Travel, Leisure, Current Affairs and Life in Britain. Topics can be introduced according to your wishes as our teachers follow a negotiated syllabus.

The Summer Vacation Programme

Anglolang offers a choice of activities each week day afternoon, a full day guided excursion each Wednesday and optional full-day guided excursions at the weekend. Activities offered include:

• Sports -  including swimming, mini-golf, badminton, basketball, football, volleyball

• Mini-visits – including Scarborough castle, Scarborough Sea Life Centre, Scarborough Rotunda Museum, Scarborough Art gallery

• Guided Excursions – including historic York, picturesque Whitby, cosmopolitan Leeds
