The English Winter Programme is ideally suited to overseas students or anyone who wishes to visit the North of England, improve their English Language proficiency and have the opportunity to meet other students from around the world.  The course includes a weekly social programme and includes a range of trips to different places in the UK. 

You will study English for a minimum 19 hours per week. This will include at least 12 hours of core language and 7 hours of Intergrated Skills with British and Manchester Cultural Studies. 

A wide and varied social programme is offered to students through The University of Manchester's Students' Union. Evening activities and weekend day trips within Greater Manchester, the North-West and the UK are offered to students on the programme.
