Our Pre-sessional courses are designed to help you develop the academic skills you need to progress to an undergraduate or postgraduate course at the University of Manchester. 

The courses last between 4 and 10 weeks and are available online or on-campus. The length of the course will be determined by the academic school to which you have applied at the University of Manchester. 

All courses cover academic writing, reading, listening and speaking and will help you to develop your skills of independent learning and critical thinking. The course will teach you the key skills necessary to help you suceed in your future studies.
