Other Information

Lessons take place on 3 afternoons a week, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 2.00-4.00pm. 

This course is most suitable for students who are already living here and working in the mornings or evenings. 

You can start on any Tuesday, but you must first take a placement test so that we can check availability of a place at your level. There will be a maximum of 6 students in your class. All have a similar English level and are of different nationalities. 

We can help you prepare for different examinations as part of this course, eg IELTS, First Certificate, Advanced, Proficiency. 

Students work on Language Skills, focussing on:

• Speaking and Listening on Tuesdays
• Reading on Wednesdays
• Writing on Thursdays.

Students listen to recordings or audio-visual materials, work on exercises, read texts and discuss topics in pairs, groups and as a whole class.
