Aims of the Course
The course will improve your English in all areas and give you an internationally recognised certificate. The Cambridge exams can be used as an SELT to apply for a Tier 4 visa.
Course Outline
This course is designed to extend the Standard General English course. 8 hours per week of exam preparation classes, in addition to the standard 15 hours of General English, will help students to prepare for the Cambridge PET, FCE and CAE exams.
The Cambridge exams are the best way to improve your English skills and knowledge, they test Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking. There is also a Grammar and Vocabulary sections, the "Use of English" test. Each week you will focus on these areas, and there are weekly progress tests. In your General English course you will study the grammar and vocabulary needed to improve your English level. In the exam preparation course you will practise the skills needed to pass the exam.
The exam is very challenging, but our tutors are very experienced in helping students pass the exam and very committed to helping students get the grade they need. If you provide the work, they will provide the knowledge and support.
