Other Information

Students joining this programme will take General English group classes, at the appropriate level, each morning from 09.15 - 12.30.

In the afternoons, participants then join Business English classes, from 13.30 - 15.00 (5 days per week if taught in a small group; 3 days per week if taught on a 1:1 basis).

Students are placed into the morning group classes based on both their age, and their level of English, which we assess ahead of arrival. The afternoon classes are eithersmaller group classes, or 1:1 tuition, and we group together adults of similar interests and backgrounds for this.

We ask those joining the English + Business English option to complete a Needs Analysis, giving some background about their work and their specific needs, to help ensure the tuition is tailored to be as productive as possible. Business English topics covered often include:

- Presentation and Public Speaking Skills

- Formal Report Writing

- Analysis of Data

- Formal Lexis and Professional Conversation/Meeting Etiquette
