Sidmouth International School is a successful teacher training centre and is actively involved in teacher development. We have an experienced teaching team and offer developmental courses for overseas teachers of English. The town of Sidmouth is an excellent place for teachers to study. The friendly, welcoming atmosphere of the town means you can experience real British life, enabling you to achieve a greater understanding of both the language and culture.

This course is avaliable all year round for a minimum of one week. Language and/or methodology development courses are designed to meet specific needs of teachers.

The course includes 15 hours per week (9:00 - 12:30, Monday to Friday) of language development in mixed nationality groups and 6 hours per week (13:30 - 15:30 Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday) of specialist ELT sessions including methodology, materials etc - a total of 21 hours. Class observations can be arranged. 

Free SIS coach transfer to/from Heathrow Airport every Saturday.
