The Cambridge Centre for Languages (CCL) has pleasure and pride in announcing its English Language and Activity courses for students aged 10-17 at St. Mary's School, Cambridge.
On these courses CCL offers: - a maximum class size of 16, qualified and experienced staff, shared or single accommodation with selected local families in Cambridge or residential accommodation at St. Mary's School. We offer a carefully balanced mixture of English language tuition, activities and excursions to places of historic or cultural importance.
St Mary's, where our courses will be held, is situated in the heart of the university city of Cambridge, only a few minutes walk from the public library, Cambridge Arts Theatre and most of the restaurants, cafeterias, cinemas and designer shops. Whatever your interest, whether it be drama, sport, music, films or books, we offer a social programme which covers all of these areas.
For students who are interested in sports, facilities for badminton, cricket, tennis, netball, squash, rugby, soccer, table tennis and swimming are conveniently located close to our teaching centre. The main bus terminal in the city and Cambridge Railway Station are within walking distance. St. Mary’s School is a handsome Victorian building which has recently been refurbished. It consists of three floors with bright and comfortable classrooms and a computer room where students can check and send their emails daily.
CCL is unique in that we employ local teenagers on our summer course, to assist in classes and accompany students on their social programme. This gives students the opportunity to gain a greater insight into life in the UK from a teenage perspective. It enables them to talk to people their own age to find out what's hot and what's not in the UK, to share experiences and popular culture.
CCL also offers bespoke group courses and one-to-one tuition for junior and adult students throughout the year - we can create a learning programme just for you! Please contact us for more details.
So come and join us for a great learning and cultural experience!
