The IELTS preparation course at ELC Eastbourne is designed to give you complete and careful preparation for all aspects of the academic module of IELTS.

It is an intensive 4-week course - you study Monday to Friday, mornings and afternoons, with the IELTS exam on the Saturday after the course. Your teachers will be experienced in teaching IELTS preparation courses. Some of them are also IELTS examiners.

The course includes:

25 or 30 lessons per week (18.75 or 22.5 hours)
guidance and practice in all 4 papers of the IELTS exam (reading, writing, listening and speaking)
mock examinations under authentic exam conditions
regular tutorials with your teacher to give you individual help and study advice

If you are planning to study for 24 weeks or more, the IELTS Preparation Course can be taken as part of our Study Year Programme.

NB The exam is usually held on the Saturday after the course. Please contact us for exact exam dates.

NB The exam fee is not included in the course fees. Approx exam fee = £175. Results are usually available 2 weeks after the exam.
