The Language & UK Culture course is designed for non-native speakers of English who are teaching English as a Foreign Language, including English for Specific Purposes. Teachers of secondary school students, teachers of adults and primary teachers will find the course rewarding. Course content offers inspiration for thematic teaching at primary or secondary level and is ideal for CLIL.

Objectives:

To Improve personal fluency for teaching
To give participants working with English the key language and communication skills necessary in educational, social and vocational contexts.
To provide effective training for teachers to better enable them to teach and communicate in English confidently and efficiently.
To better enable teachers to use authentic material and texts by exploring cultural references that underpin the English language used in the UK
